Below are common terms used in the Reports section.
Add Chart: option to add a new chart to a Report. Click the blue Add Chart button to add a new chart to end of the list of charts in a Report.
Chart: a single graph in a Report in which you can set parameters and filter data. To add a new chart, click the blue Add Chart button.
Delete Report: option to delete an entire report. To delete a report, click the red Delete Report button.
Delete Chart: option to delete a single chart on a report. To delete a chart, click the Options button on the chart and select Delete Chart.
Edit Chart: option to edit a pre-existing chart's parameters and filters. To edit a chart, click the Options button on the chart and select Edit Chart. The Edit Chart modal will appear.
Export CSV: option to export the raw data from the chart in a .CSV format for further analysis in excel. To export a chart, click the Options button on the specific chart that you'd like share and click Export CSV. The CSV file will automatically download.
Export Image: option to export a chart in a .PNG format. To export a chart, click the Options button on the specific chart that you'd like to share and click Export Image. The chart image will automatically download.
New Report: option to create a new report. To add a new report, click the green New Report button and name your report before you start adding charts.
Options: a button on each chart that allows you to edit that chart, export as a CSV or image, or delete the chart itself.
Report: a named list of charts that you can pre-save and re-call at anytime.
Edit Chart Modal
Chart Type: two options are available -- either time series or categories.
- Time Series displays data over time on the x axis using Columns, Lines, or by Area.
- Categories will group the data by category for the given time period with the groupings displayed on the y axis.
Data Tab: the main data series to be loaded into your chart
Comparison Tab: the option to add an additional data series to your chart following the same setup parameters as the Data Tab
Data Type: here you will select what you want to display on your graph, be it Yield, Loss, Loss Ratio or any available Metric.
Date Range: data range by which to filter and display the data.
Breakdown by Time: for Time Series graphs, define how you want the data to be displayed, by day, week, month, or year.
Sum / Cumulative / Average:
- Sum: is the total of that data series for the time period
- Cumulative: is the sum of the data series from the beginning of the time period to the current time period
- Average: is the average of the data series for that specific time period
Breakdown by Type: View data broken down by Crop, Variety, Seeding Unit, User, and more
